Forget purgatory welcome to Suburgatory, the new comedy series coming to GO!
If you loved Mean Girls, then get your series link ready this show is set to be your new fave we've had a sneak peek at DOLLY and we're obsessed!
For 16-year-old Tessa Altman (played by Jane Levy), a teenage girl from New York City, her new town (filled with manicured lawns, cookie-cutter homes, big Botox lips and nose jobs) represents her version of suburban hell welcome to Tessa's Suburgatory.
When her father George (played by Jeremy Sisto) finds a box of condoms in her room (cringe!), its goodbye New York and hello suburbia!
Tessa goes into culture shock. New school, new friends, pep rallies, animal print, plastic surgery and a whole lot of blonde, bronze and bums.
Oh, and meet Dalia. Tessa's nemesis. She is also Tessa's new "buddy" at school but as the school counsellor, Mr Wolfe, informs Tessa, a buddy is not necessarily your friend.
Uh-oh!
Little by little, Tessa and her dad begin to find a way to survive on the clean streets of the 'burbs. Living here could be hell, but it might just bring Tessa and George closer than they've ever been.
Suburgatory premieres this Sunday, February 5, at 8pm on GO!
