Kristen Stewart is the latest Hollywood starlet to step into the fashion spotlight after being named the face of Balenciaga's new perfume for women.
The 21-yer-old actress will be swapping her ripped jeans and flannel for a more glamorous look as she poses in the upcoming campaign for the fragrance.
"Balenciaga has always stood out to me," Kristen said. "Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognised and loved Balenciaga.
"The brand is just cool. That's the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn't afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable."
Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Balenciaga, says that Kristen "embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance" and "shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga."
The fragrance, which is yet to be named, is expected to hit stores later this year.
