They played coy for a while, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially come out as a couple, in an extraodinarily OTT fashion!

Miley and Liam, who came under fire for their relationship after rumours he still had a girlfriend back in Australia when they first hooked up, posed for photos and looked very loved-up on the Oscars red carpet.

Miley gushed to reporters that her and Liam are "deeper than other people" (barf!) and said of Liam "He's very grateful for what he has, but he doesn't let it go to his head. I'm like that too."

Is it just us or is Miley contradicting herself by saying that her and Liam are deeper than other people, yet doesn't think fame has gone to her head?

The juiciest goss of the night is that Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato were spotted leaving an after party together very late at night. Wonder what they were up to?
