Attention Glee fans! We have some good and bad news. Let's start with the bad news first, shall we? Fox president Kevin Reilly has confirmed that, despite reports, there will NOT be a Glee spin-off.
Nooooooooooo!
Rumours had been floating around about the spin-off for months, with the graduating characters Finn, Rachel and Kurt, rumoured to pursue their Broadway dreams in New York.
Nope. Gone. Kibosh!
Okay, we know you're all pretty devo right now but consider our good news: Glee season four is a go ... with the original cast on board!
That's right, we're talking Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Naya Rivera all signed, sealed and delivered!
We'll give you a moment to calm yourself...
We know you have a bazillion questions already (How will this work? Will they still be students? What about Dianna?!), but all we can share at this stage is what Lea Michele had to say after the official announcement was made yesterday.
"I'm so excited. I spoke with Ryan [Murphy] today. We had a great conversation. He told me his plan and I will tell you it's incredibly ground-breaking and it's revolutionary for television, the way he's figured out how to use these graduated high school characters on this TV show. I was like, 'Ryan, I feel like I could cry!'
"I always knew in the back of my mind, like, listen, I'm coming back whether they want it or not. I'm going to be a janitor in the background! I'm thankful every single day. This is the best job in the whole world. Ryan is the greatest creator and I adore him. My cast is my family. I'm so happy."
