Justin Bieber likens himself to champion boxer

In the latest issue of V magazine, Justin Bieber has revealed that he compares himself to champion boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The 17-year-old pop star said that he likens his situation to that of the controversial boxer, as they are both viewed as the best in their game.

"Now that I'm on top, everyone wants to bring me down," Justin said. "Everyone's trying to tug at me and take my spot. Like Floyd Mayweather, he's the best boxer in the world."

Justin went on to reveal that he has drawn parallels with his own career, especially as some haters are just waiting for him to lose.

"Every time [Floyd] goes to a fight now, people are like, 'He's going to lose this time'," he said.

While we can't help but feel the pressure of all those non-Beliebers trying to knock him down, the good thing is that they're giving him the motivation to keep on going strong!

And thanks to that comment, we've got a fairly drool-worthy image of Justin to ponder on. Boxing trunks and gloves, anyone?

the difference is people want justin beiber to sell a few less records. his fans don't care what they think and will get them anyway, so it doesn't really matter. people don't only want floyds career to end, they want to see him get knocked out, they accuse him of cheating in a field where cheating can get you banned, they call him racist names, and they accuse him of dodging fights even though his record clearly says otherwise. i get that it might be hard for beiber, but it's not exactly the same thing.

First things first, mayweather is ranked number 2 and it is manny pacquiao who is ranked number 1, manny is also classed as pound for pound the best fighter in the world so as you can see no floyd. Justin is a knob for even comparing himself to floyd unless he was going to compare himself in the fact that just like floyd when he grows up he too will beat women. I would actually love to see him in gloves and shorts that is to enter the ring and really fight but no like every other pop star pole smoker he will put it on so all the pedofiles and 9 year old girls can scream over it. the kid has NO talent and without his marketing team would be no where, his marketing team do one hell of a job they are truely masters of their art.
