Miley Cyrus: 'I love my body'

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

Teen starlet Miley Cyrus is fighting back at cruel criticism about her body shape, revealing that she loves herself just the way she is.

The 18-year-old former Hannah Montana actress has been the recent target of mean gossip bloggers speculating over her apparent weight gain after she was spotted donning a curvier figure at the beach.

"By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people," Miley tweeted along with a picture of a dangerously skinny model. "I don't wanna be shaped like a girl; I love being shaped like a woman."

Well said, Miley!

The starlet's BFF Demi Lovato also jumped on Twitter to show her support, writing: "Whoever called you that has it coming." Aww, what a great friend!

It's totally obvious Miley doesn't have a weight problem and it's great to hear she's proud of her amazing bod! You go, girl.
